Charles Bearden, II, known by the moniker, "The Carpenter Craftsman" became an LLC on 9/9/2019. A USMC Veteran, Charles brings to the table 21 years of experience in home renovation, repairing homes for an upcoming open houses or home sales, and those simply wishing to keep up with current style trends. His wife, Rose, designed the website you see, and adds 21 years in marketing to the mix, designing custom home decor, offering master gardening planning advice, and staging homes to sell at an above-average profit. That's 42 years of combined experience working on your behalf on every project. The phrase "skilled labor isn't cheap...and cheap labor isn't skilled" is a truism in the construction industry. Our clients are accustomed to superior quality and like our "old school" approach!"
"I get jobs as a carpenter but I approach my work as a craftsman."
“All success starts with being a craftsman. A carpenter builds things. A craftsman creates a work of art. While most people approach their work with the mindset that they just want to get it done, craftsmen are more concerned with who they are becoming and what they are creating rather than how fast they finish it. After all, it’s no use finishing something if it’s not a work of art.”---from The Carpenter by Jon Gordon

Treehouse Transformation for a USMC couple...
8/28/2019: "I used The Carpenter Craftsman to build an inside ramp, outside ramp, and dog door in my garage wall, as my dogs are getting older. Charlie did such a fantastic job, he listened to everything I asked for, and really took the picture in my head and brought it to life! He did such a quality job, it improves the house, looks fantastic, and the dogs love it, although we now have traffic jams when one dog stands in front of the door. Charlie is a great guy, was fun to have around, the dogs loved him a lot, and he went above and beyond in making sure it was perfect!!!"--Jerry T in Apex
